Students top of the art class
The winning works from the SCLS art show were announced by local artists Peter Dunne and Peter Otton on Friday. There were first place and runner up prizes for every school stage. Some artists were pleasantly surprised to win. Roisin Ahern of Eden High School took second place in the stage six division.
“I wasn’t expecting it when they told me today,” she said. “It’s a really good feeling, especially when it comes out of the blue like this.”
Pambula Public School was awarded the whole school award for their colourful stepping stones.
