The group of young keepers were put through their paces by Fraser, who was impressed with the quality of custodians on show.
Far South Coast Coach and Development Manager Ray Hale said it was a great day for keepers to hone their skills.
“We are pleased to bring goalkeeping learning to the Far South Coast as it is important for coaches and goalkeepers to feel confident in their approach to their respective matches and what better way to learn from one of the best in our game in Jim Fraser.
“The added advantage now is that coaches can then bring what they’ve learned into their club’s training with extra confidence knowing they have the right approach.”
A second part of the course will be held later in the year.
“Another great outcome was Jim also started mentoring local and former elite keeper Dave Gilbert with the aim of strengthening the goal keeping coaching department on the Far South Coast.”
Football NSW Coach Education Manager Oscar Gonzalez said the day was good to bring a bit of exposure to football on the FSC.
“The key objective of Football NSW is to assist with building capacity throughout the state where Associations are in a better position to conduct courses locally with the support of the state’s governing body of the sport.
“It was certainly a great productive day and this was all thanks to Jim Fraser.”
