Far South Coast police have released a CCTV image of a man following an incident where cash was stolen from a church in Eden.

Police are seeking assistance from the public in relation to a sum of money being stolen from St Joseph’s Catholic Church collection box at around 2.10pm on Wednesday, July 5.
The offender, who forced open the collection box and stole the small amount of cash, was captured on CCTV.
On Thursday, July 20, police released an image of a man who they believe will be able to assist with their investigation.
The man depicted in the image is described as about 18-20 years old, dark hair, wearing a purple top and grey shorts.

BEGA
At 8.25pm, July 19, Bega police stopped a Holden Statesman on Spindler St and Rawlinson St Bega for the purpose of a random breath test.
Police detected a passenger acting suspiciously and directed him to exit the vehicle to be spoken to. The male got out of the car and then fled on foot. He was arrested by police after a short chase.
A subsequent search of the vehicle located a small quantity of drugs, alleged to be methamphetamine and cannabis, cash, and a flick knife.
The 32-year-old male passenger was arrested and taken to Bega Police Station.
He was later released and investigations are continuing.
BATEMANS BAY
Around 12.20am Thursday, July 20, unknown offender/s have used a brick to smash a window at a community building in Museum Place, Batemans Bay.
Access was gained to the property and items rummaged through.
Police were alerted by a security company and attended shortly after. At that time the offender/s had fled.
Police are investigating the incident.
BATEMANS BAY
Around 12am on Thursday, July 20, a Subaru was stopped by police on Beach Rd, Batemans Bay for the purpose of a random breath and drug test.
The 34-year-old driver was breath tested with a negative result. He underwent a drug oral test with a positive reading to methamphetamines. He was arrested and taken to Batemans Bay Police Station.
A secondary test was conducted and laboratory results are pending. He was issued a 24 hour prohibition notice for driving.
