Played at the home of the Bermagui-Cobargo Eels on Narira Park, Cobargo, the Tigers took charge to lead 20-14 at the break before extending their lead in a dominant second half showing.
It was a massive recovery for the Tigers, who had a disastrous start, gifting the Bay the ball in the first set from a knock-on, before an intercept to Bay half-back Mick Taditch to score in the fifth minute.
Eden settled their play and replied a few minutes late when full-back Toby Whitehead made a break, offloading to winger Brendan Lewis and then backed up on the inside to score, with John Aldridge kicking the extra.
Aldridge then set up Brad Pocock to cross soon after and the Tigers led 12-4.
Eden centre Joe Sagoe put the hosts even further ahead in the 17th minute with support from Aldridge and Greg Nicholson.
A follow-up to prop Andrew Love saw the Tigers take charge 20-4, but the Bay soon fired back to successive tries late in the half to Mitchell Freeman and Taditch’s second.
Coach Jake Whitehead shared some stern words during the break and Eden returned the paddock with a newfound resolve.
Robert Aratangi crossed soon after play resumed, then with 15 minutes left to play hooker Matt Whitehead dashed through to score under the posts.
Aldridge continued his good form with the boot, adding the extras and Eden shout out 32-14.
In just his second first-grade start, Hayden Crofton, 17, scored his maiden first grade try to the delight of team-mates and club supporters.
Late in the piece, Toby sent his brother Matt over to cap off the scoring with Aldridge’s accurate boot sealing a strong result.
Earlier, Eden Tigeresses continued their excellent league-tag form with a 40-0 whitewash of Batemans Bay.
Once again producing a sparkling brand of positive football, Eden's opening try came from the inspirational Stephanie Robin, converted by Kiarna Mitchell.
Further tries to Alexandra Spivey, Rebecca Gray, Emma Flanigan, Gray's second, Spivey's second - this time 80 metres from the kick-off, and two more conversions from Mitchell, gave Eden a 30-0 half-time advantage.
Early in the second term Madeline Newton crossed to make it 34-0 before a classy try from elite athlete Angela Blackburn and Chelsie Cassie's successful conversion made the final score 40-0.
The combined Bermagui-Cobargo/Eden under 18s tried hard but Batemans Bay were too good 46-4.
And the portability Bermagui-Cobargo reserve grade side lost to Batemans Bay 40-26.
There is a wet-weather bye this weekend with Eden’s next round to host the Bega Roosters at George Brown Memorial Oval on July 9.
