Road closures across Towamba’s Mitchells Creek will occur across the next six weeks due to the replacement of the bridge deck.

Work will start on Monday, June 26 and be completed by Friday, August 4 if weather permits.
Intermittent bridge closures will result, including full road closure of the bridge on Towamba Road between 9am and 3pm on June 29, July 7 and July 14.
Partial road closure with traffic light control will be ongoing throughout the works program, with delays of up to 20 minutes to be expected.
During full closures an alternative route will be available via Burragate Road and Mount Darragh Road.
