Destination NSW – the government agency which promotes tourism and major events – invited photographers from across the state to enter videos depicting what they loved about holidaying in NSW.
Mr Whiter's video features stunning vision of Eden's bays, beaches, whales, wildlife, cruise ships, fishing boats, water sports and the town’s annual Whale Festival – much of which was drone footage.
His prize was a trip to the Vivid Festival in Sydney, Canon camera and walking tour of the festival precinct with a Canon "ambassador".
Hundreds of entries were received and Mr Whiter said it was great to be able to put Eden on the tourism map.
Mr Whiter's video will now be edited with the highlights to be included in a showcase of holiday destinations to be shown on websites and social media in coming weeks.
