Superheros will take over Eden later this month at a disco especially for kids.

The Kids’ Superhero Disco is being organised by the Eden Chamber of Commerce to raise funds for the town’s annual street party, Christmas on Imlay.

Event organiser Clair Mudaliar said money raised from the disco will go towards paying for entertainment at Christmas on Imlay, inluding the jumping castle and bands.

The disco will be held on Friday, June 23, between 5.30pm - 8pm in the auditorium of the Eden Fishermen’s Recreation Club.

Entry will cost is $12 per child, and $10 for each additional sibling. Tickets – which are available from Eden Newsagency – include entry, entertainment, a packet of chips and drink, and glow goodies.

All children from Kindergarten to Year 6 are welcome. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and dancers.

Ms Mudaliar said the recent resignation of some helpers meant more people were needed to get involved with organising events. Phone  0490 010 109 to volunteer.
