‘Being Change’, Ms Seddon’s inspiring work at Potoroo Palace, Panboola and Cowsnest, premiered as a feature documentary last year, before being acquired by the ABC’s Compass program.
Compass series producer Jessica Douglas-Henry said the film ticked off the program’s criteria for meaning, faith and ethics, and shone the spotlight on the work of individuals in regional Australia. It goes to air on May 6 at 6pm.
Ms Houston – a former Magnet journalist who is currently working on a film on Stradbroke Island – returned to Eden last week with an ABC film crew to finalise her documentary on Uncle Ossie for Australian Story.
Uncle Ossie’s story looks at the respected Elder’s work to establish the Bundian Way and also his vision for Youth Land at Jigamy. It goes to air on May 29 at 8pm, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the historic referendum.
