The $130,000 playground – which includes a wheelchair-accessible carousel, hammock swing and slides –was opened by Sapphire Coast Tourism executive director Anthony Osborne on Monday.
Park manager Chris Donohue said installation of the playground equipment was completed before the Easter break and had proved popular with visiting families.
“These new modern park facilities allow us to market ourselves as a family-friendly destination which will see a large increase in guest numbers to the park,” he said.
“We are excited for first time visiting families to come and enjoy not only our park but Eden as well,” he said.
Mr Osborne welcomed the park’s investment in family-oriented holiday accommodation, adding that camping and caravanning was a huge growth sector not only within the region but also across NSW.
