The league is hosting an eight team men’s short-format tournament, but has also welcomed five teams for the ladies’ draw as competition continues to grow in the region.
In a debut for the league, the Merimbula Diggers will introduce a ladies team, while the Eden Whalers look to continue their dominance following the inaugural premiership.
Pambula is entering two men’s teams with the Whalers fielding a side and the local contingents will also be joined by the Southern Cats from Victoria.
Narooma, Bermagui and Merimbula will round out the men’s entries, while Narooma, Pambula and Tathra will flesh out the ladies’ draw.
Teams will play in a quick format round-robin with two smaller modified fields in play at the Tathra Beach Country Club. Matches will run from 9am and play shortened halves with a final to go ahead about 4pm.
