Tough conditions over the weekend seemed to deter many people from competing but organisers said there were still plenty of fish in the sea.

Fishing kicked off on Saturday, March 18 which was particularly challenging for fishermen but those that braved conditions reaped the reward. 

Conditions were slightly better on Sunday, March 19 and Monday, March 20 but organisers said there were less fish caught. 

Organisers are now hoping for better conditions when the Eden Open runs next year.
