Making beautiful cards and decorative boxes is a skill that members of the Eden branch of the Country Women’s Association (CWA) all possess thanks to a wonderful and fun demonstration at their meeting last week.

Jill Rolfe, a talented local folk artist gave the demonstration much to the delight of the CWA members.

Ms Rolfe also put on a beautiful display of some of the pieces she had made previously which greatly impressed the ladies.

Eden CWA vice-president Patti Hand said it was a very enjoyable morning filled with laughter and learning.

The Eden branch of the CWA meets on the second Friday of the month at the CWA Hall on Imlay Street.

They are very much looking forward to the many activities and events they have lined up which will include a CWA Olympic games in Cobargo.
