Roads and Maritime Services is carrying out routine maintenance work on Merimbula Bridge on the Princes Hwy across Millingandi Creek located two kilometres west of Merimbula township.
Maintenance work will also be carried out on the Princes Hwy at the bridge across Wolumla Back Creek, around 10 kilometres south of Bega.
This work includes repairs to bridge barriers and joint repairs to improve motorists’ safety and reduce ongoing maintenance costs.
Work will be carried out between 7am and 5pm from Monday, January 23, to Saturday, January 28, weather permitting.
Lane closures and a reduced 40kmh speed limit will be in place during working hours. Motorists are advised to follow the direction of traffic controllers, signs and keep to the reduced speed limits.
