Last weekend 68 headed out for the January monthly medal off the blue markers with thanks to Mark and Janice Davidson for supporting the event.
Division one winner was Ian Hamdof who amassed a very worthy round of 65 nett to defeat Mark Davidson with a three off the pace 68.
The score of the day was realized by division two winner bob Bowden with a brilliant round of 63 nett.
Runner-up was fellow veteran Max Saunders who carried an excellent one off the pace 64.
John Haenie accepted third placing with a well controlled 67 Nett.
Players needed 74 or better to win in the ball rundown.
Play over the weekend faced soaring temperatures with 85 players heading out Saturday for a single stableford medley on the course that is crying out for rainfall, organisers said.
A grade winner was Graeme Contaill, who carded an excellent round of 42 points off an eight handicap. Second placing went to the very versatile Ian Smith realizing a score line of 41 points playing off a handicap of 10.
Round of the day was recorded by the veteran Mike Skitt with 43 points in division two and he defeated the promising Russ Waddell on 40 points.
Sydney Donaldson kept the seniors flag flying with a steady round of 38 points taking out third placing. Race winners needed 36 points or better in the rundown.
Saturday members and visitors will again greet the starter for another single stableford medley.
