Club offcials said they were proud to welcome Liam Wilkinson to the role for the year.

“Liam has grown up around the club and brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the role,” a spokesperson for the club said on social media. 

“He has not only played loads of footy in the local league, but he has played in Canberra and has also played for the Sydney Swans reserves.”

Meanwhile, after making the grand finals on debut, Kane Kirkby will continue his role as coach of the tremendous Eden women’s side. 

The spokesperson said the announcement was a great step forward for the club and members were all excited for the season.
