I needed to get some hardware for a friend who has been receiving multiple treatments for cancer.
As soon as they heard, despite them being closed for the holidays, they jumped on board and delivered the goods the next day.
The customer service I received was second to none. Thanks again guys.

Mission Providence Giving Tree Appeal response
The staff at Mission Providence Eden and Ilene Cameron from St Vincent de Paul would like to thank all the people that donated gifts to the Mission Providence Giving Tree Appeal for Christmas 2016.
The gifts were distributed to the needy of our community by Ilene Cameron and they put smiles on all the faces of people that would otherwise not have had anything under the Christmas tree.
The generosity of a community that is doing it tough was overwhelming, but shows that people that are struggling sure know what it is like.
Again thank you to all those that supported this appeal, we look forward to your support in the future.

Wild Oats arrived in Eden three years too early
Wild Oats called us to book an Eden marina berth as she limped in after dark from Bass Strait.
Her call was three years early but it reinforced the longstanding need for safe harbour for recreational vessels, recognised with the 2015 announcement by NSW ministers Duncan Gay and Andrew Constance of $10m for a state-of-the-art wave attenuator.
Design work and tender preparation are now happening, and we anticipate a modern Eden marina in place for any Sydney-Hobart yachts retiring to Eden from the 2019 race.

Monster trucks disquiet
I write to give vent to the considerable disquiet felt by my parents about the problems caused for them by the exceptionally noisy monster truck event held nearby at the Bega Recreation Ground on New Year’s Day.
Will and Janet Pitty, who are aged 91 and 89 and have lived in Swan St for the past 17 years, experienced the most unwelcome disruption to their enjoyment of the public holiday due to the monster truck event blasting sounds of revving engines and sonic booms (that shook the house) into their residential neighbourhood a short distance away.
In addition to the noise, they had the imposition of one carload of patrons of the event parking on the front verge outside their home blocking passage. Such behaviour is just plain rude. It also shows that inadequate parking was available for the event.
One wonders why the event was given approval to be staged at the Bega Recreation Ground when more suitable venues for such an extremely noisy event exist well away from the residential area.
The noise from the Bega Recreation Ground went on between 6.30pm and 9pm. This is an unfair imposition on local residents, particularly the elderly. Many elderly residents live close by at Hillgrove House.
The Bega Valley Shire Council claims the area is “a liveable place” – the monster truck event on New Year’s Day made a mockery of this claim with the unreasonable noise levels being foisted upon local residents without any notice, let alone consultation.
Given that when the monster truck event goes to Perth in March it will be staged at a motorsport facility, the council should answer why the organisers of the event were not directed to hold their event at the speedway at Tantawangalo.
