Whale Festival Poets' Breakfast
Come and recite your own poems and be inspired by the pros. Headlined by local bush poet Archie Bishop, this event runs from 8am to 9.30am on Saturday October 29 as part of the Whale Festival. Road closures
Saturday, October 29 – Imlay Street will be closed off from Bass St for the purpose of holding a Street Parade and other activities from 8.30 am. Bass St and Imlay Street from 9.30 to approx 11.45.
Sunday October 30 – Imlay Street will be closed from 8am to 12 noon between Chandos Street and the laneway to carpark for a Hot Rod Show and Shine.
Amazing Race
PCYC Far South Coast, with Campbell Page, is organising an Amazing Race in Eden. The race is open to all Eden High students who are looking for fun and adventure. It will take place on Saturday, December 10 so please save the date. PCYC is looking for volunteers to help out on the day simply email Gary Traynor on gtraynor@pcycnsw.org.au.

Ladies Social Tennis is starting this Thursday, October 27 from 9am. All standards of players welcome.
Karaoke Party

Genealogy
Members and guests are invited to the Bega Valley Genealogy Society’s meeting on Sunday, October 30 at 2pm at the Old Pambula Courthouse. This is an opportunity to meet the new committee led by Bob Arthur and Gail Gibson. For all those people who have an interest in family history, guest speaker Meg Ward will talk about her journey in ‘Finding Granny Janet’. Following the meeting all are welcome to stay for a cuppa.
