The Eden library, Eden Access Centre and Eden Visitor Information Centre co-hosted an Open Day on Saturday which aimed to better inform the Eden community of their services.

The event will coincided with the Celebrate Life in Eden initiative.

Eden library customer information officer Kate Liston said the doors were opened between the three centres making it easier for people to move through and learn more about what they do.

“We’ve had all our regulars in here and a few new faces,” Ms Liston said.

The Library provided a craft area which was utilised by children who needed a break from the sun and the loud noise at the Celebrate Life initiative.

Ms Liston said she’s happy with how the Open Day turned out and encouraged anyone who missed it to take the time to drop in to either the library, Access Centre or Information Centre for a chat with the friendly staff.
