Four Koori elders from Eden are heading to the Koori Olympics this year, with high hopes of returning with more gold medals.

Pastor Ossie Cruse, Liddy and Ossie Stewart and Shirley Aldridge will travel to Wagga Wagga to compete this Thursday and Friday, in an annual event run by the NSW Local Health District and Aunty Jeans’ Health clinic.

Pastor Cruse said elders “from Sydney to the Victorian border” compete in a range of activities including discus and goal shooting, and reunite with family.
