The free expo will comprise of several wine tasting stations offering an extremely wide range of wines and growing districts. Novices to connoisseurs’ will benefit from the experience.
The tasting stations will be staffed by wine industry experts qualified to answer any questions participants may asked.
Wines from all regions at all price points from Quaffers to Premiums will be available for tasting.
Lakeview Hotel owner Dennis Souter said all the wines will be labelled so there will be no hidden secrets.
“This is an opportunity for locals to be exposed to nice wines and life’s too short to drink a bad glass of wine,” Mr Souter said.
This is the second occasion the Hotel has conducted this event, the first of which was held in August, 2014.
Mr Souter said they are planning to make it an annual event appealing to locals and tourist alike.
