The Whalers had led by two goals for a majority of the second half, but play hit a frantic pace in the dying stages with the Sea Eagles posting two shots to level the odds.
Eden’s defensive efforts held the Sea Eagles back in the last quarter before mounting their own raid to the Tathra-Bega end.
The Whalers showed too much skill on the day, hammering the Eagles’ defence with a breakthrough goal in the final minute to seal the match.
