This year South Coast Careers College has been able to deliver a number of certificate level courses including Cert III in Individual Support and Cert IV in New Small Business in Merimbula. Ruth Ayling, Southern Area Manager says “We are very pleased to be able to deliver Career courses closer to home for people living in Merimbula, Tathra, Pambula and Eden. The Bega Valley Regional Learning Centre provides a wonderful venue for people to attend courses in a non-threatening environment”.
The Certificate II in Salon Assistants course – which used to be called Cert II in Hairdressing – is open to anyone who is interested in pursuing further work/study opportunities in hairdressing, or just wants that first step to gain confidence, return to study or make new friends.
The course will cover personal presentation, how to wash a customer’s hair using different products for different hair types, how to blow wave and style hair using styling products and master the straightener and curling tongs.
Participate in a friendly learning environment with experienced trainer Kerryn Granger.
The course will be delivered on Tuesdays from September 6, 9.30am until 3pm, for 10 weeks excluding school holidays.
