The Eden Women’s Bowling Club held its AGM last week and had some changes on the committee. Di Skipworth was elected secretary to take over from Maureen Hadley and returning president Jan Key heartily thanked Hadley for her tireless efforts over many years. Other new additions to the committee were Win Cameron as second vice-president, Elaine Wright as the head of social and Venetia Thompson on the regular committee.

Returning members include Heidi Wilesmith as vice-president, treasurer Judy Russell, head of match Jan Pyke, publicity officer Leah McKinnon publicity and Hadley staying on the general committee.
In other news, a good turnout of 24 social players headed out for four games of triples on Eden’s greens last Tuesday. A cool wind made the sunny morning brisk, but this did not deter the winning team of Judy Russell, Irella Nixon and Frank Jones who won by 15 points.
