In Australia, an average of 100 people a day, or one person every 15 minutes, are reported missing, with about 1600 classified as long-term missing.
Pouliot’s advocacy for missing persons is inspired and motivated by her real life experience, the 29-year-old mystery surrounding the disappearance of her cousin Ursula Barwick.
Detective Sergeant Justin Marks has been involved with the investigation of multiple missing persons cases. He recently renewed calls for information regarding Kellie-Anne Levitski who was last seen at the family's rural property on Mount Darragh Road in March 2014.
