Officials said the cup was a rousing success with more than 100 riders taking part from across NSW, Victoria and the ACT.
The 2016 Hotondo Homes-Kampman Transport Cup was won by Luke Gough from Hilltop ahead of runner-up Peter Smith from the Central Coast.
Holding down the fort for the local contingent was Bega rider Kale Galeano, who scored a podium finish in third, while Brett Lever joined the top 10 with an eighth place finish.
The club also hosted a junior section that was taken out by Queanbeyan rider, and 2015 Australian champion, Jake Schneiders riding his 250 Slider.
“The racing was hard and fast with a variety of riders from Bega Valley competing aged between four and 48,” a spokesman said.
Some of the quickest racing came out the senior 250 and 450 classes where the visitors scooped most of the placings, but a good handful of locals joined the top rankings.
In the 450s, Kale finished seventh, while Todd Ingram won the B Main stubby race, while unfortunately Matt McDonald was hospitalised after a crash on the main straight.
In the headline event, Cliff Patton suffered engine issues to miss out on the finals and finish 17th.
Meanwhile, Brett Lever headed up the over 35s race, with Steve Galeano finishing in ninth place.
The youngest age group was the Guideline South Coast four-to-nine nippers including Hayden Smith, Heidi Lever, Liam Smith and Levi Breust, who all managed heat wins.
Division two racing saw Kye Smith finish first after battling it out with Cooper Riley after two days of racing.
The Heffernan Transport 65cc class for seven to nine-year-olds put Zane Porteous in second from Smith in third, while Pambula rider Will Smith in the nine to 13 age bracket had a well-earned fourth place finish.
Porteous showed his skill in the trailbike class, leading Talia Van Houten in the runner-up spot, while Will and Jack Smith both fared well in the nine-to-13 year class.
The 85cc class featured a few locals in the top 10 with Jack Kampman in seventh, Will ninth and Sam Lever mustering 12th after a great recovery from a fall and Kyle Watson a creditable 13th in his second-ever race meeting. In the 13-16 years 85cc division, Tom Kiely finished fourth with Oscar Sutherland in fifth in just his first year of racing, while Jack continued his good form to finish seventh. Jordan Spicer also did well in his debut season, finishing fourth in the 100-150cc second class.
Next year will see 20th anniversary celebrations.
