It’s time to enjoy a good old-fashioned school fete, complete with all the treats you know and love, at Eden Public School this Saturday.
The school community and the students have been busily preparing for the major annual fundraiser for many months and have received lots of support from the wider community.
There will be plenty to keep the kids occupied while parents browse the market, enjoy a fresh Devonshire tea from Eden Lioness with espresso coffee, bid in the silent auction or buy a spin on the chocolate wheel for a chance at some great prizes.
Children’s activities include the popular giant slide and jumping castle, traditional games and a complete make-over with face painting, nail painting and hair colouring.
Find out what it is like to be a seagoing police officer when the Eden Water Police visit with their trailer boat.
When all that activity stirs the appetite, enjoy lunch from the barbecue or a hot lamb roll.
Gates open between 11.30am to 2.30pm.
