The Australian author’s writing is inspired by her real life experience, the 29-year-old mystery surrounding the disappearance of her first cousin Ursula Barwick.
“I’m contributing something really important to the families and friends of the missing, highlighting an issue which affects a large number of people in our community,” Ms Pouliot said.
The novel is the next installment of the Detective Rhiannon McVee crime mystery series and will be launched at Dulcie’s Cottage, Merimbula on Thursday, July 21. The night will start at 6pm and feature live blues music by Garry Carson Jones.
