INSYNC@Merimbula has taken up residence in the Bega Valley Regional Learning Centre, opening up the disability service provider’s programs to the town.
INSYNC was officially opened by Mayor Michael Britten and Tulgeen board chairman Grattan Smith amid a crowd of clients, staff and colourful artworks.
People with disability are welcome to contact Tulgeen and make use of INSYNC@Merimbula, which will run out of the Cabarita Place premises on Fridays, 9am until 3pm, with plans to expand as need dictates.
Programs likely to run from the outreach centre include creative endeavours and community participation, with proximity to the sea an attractive opportunity.
Cr Britten said it was “a pleasure to see this part of our learning centre used for such a good purpose”.
