Officials said the club would be bringing together the 2006 first grade prermiers and reserve grade and under 18s premiers from 1996.
Phil Fletcher headed up the reserve grade line-up in 1996 where the Tigers met the Cooma Stallions in the grand final after already edging the club in the ‘95 decider.
In a tough encounter, the Tigers scored a 14-0 win with tries to captain-coach Fletcher, Don Parris and Luke Seckold.
Then policeman Craig Williams chipped in with a conversion kick, while the Tigers boasted a powerful pack headed up by Sheldon Wykes, Darren Caldwell, Ray and Justin Cole, “Batlow” Bill Denham and Brad Manton.
The backrow boasted an exciting array of players including Dean Cameron, Craig Ferguson, Parris and crowd favourite Reggie Anderson.
Geoff Ingram and Simon Hassell also made the trek down from Bombala to join with the Tigers and Dave Beddingfield was stuck on the sideline with a broken leg, but celebrated with great spirit.
Other member of the team included Darren O’Brien, while Roger Fletcher, Mandy Douch, Colin Clarke, Jimmy Dawson and Mark Spink were part of the very successful support team .
Organisers said the premiership was a fitting finale for Fletcher who ended his playing career after a decade of service for his beloved Tigers.
An informal meet and greet will be held on July 15, but the Saturday will form an official part of the weekend with club members, sponsors and supporters gathering at the Great Southern Inn from 6.30pm.
Sunday will see a golf day at the Eden gardens country followed by the local derby between the Mighty tigers and our neigbours the Bulldogs.
The club would request any people who knows anybody that was involved during this period to contact them and invite them to a weekend full of fun and many old stories !!!!!! See you there .
