The car raffle – which was won by Bill Woolridge of Malua Bay –was organised by the Freemasons of South East NSW with its charitable arm Masonicare making a $10,000 to Nardy House.
Nardy House CEO Denise Redmond – who accepted the donation from Freemasons district 49 governor Neil Dawson on June 9 – said the donation would be used to buy specialised equipment for use by the house’s residents.
Eden Mazda general manager Steve Mitchell said he was delighted to have supplied the car at cost and in doing so support such a worthy charity as Nardy House.
Freemason District 49 includes seven lodges including Pambula, Bega, Bombala, Cooma and Moruya.
