As part of his campaign, Dr Hendy popped into the Eden RSL to have a look at the recently upgraded kitchen.
The Eden Lioness Club had used an $11,000 Stronger Communities Program grant to completely re-do the kitchen which Lioness president Robyn Skitt said was desperately needed.
“This new kitchen will benefit the entire Eden community when they attend a function at the hall,” Dr Hendy said.
To celebrate the opening of the new kitchen the Eden Lioness Club is hosting a Biggest Morning Tea. All are invited to join them on tomorrow morning, Thursday May 26, at the RSL Hall from 10am until noon. A gold coin donation is requested with all proceeds going to the Cancer Council.
