US expert in Eden
Founder of the Fluoride Action Network and PhD chemistry graduate of Cambridge University Dr Paul Connett is flying in from the USA as keynote speaker in a free anti water fluoridation seminar at the Eden’s Fishermen’s Club on Wednesday June 8. The series of seminars, including Bega and Merimbula, is a final installment of Dr Claudianos’ campaign to alert the community to the alleged dangers of water fluoridation, prior to BVSC’s proposed roll-out.

OPEN GARDENS
The Eden Lionesses are looking for anyone who would like to have their garden 'open to the public' on October 22 and 23 for their annual "Open Garden" event. Funds raised go back to the local community. For more information contact Sandra on 64961459 (after hours).

Mini Op Shop
The Samaritan Op Shop is usually open in December and January but thanks to extra donations, the Social Justice Advocates have decided to hold a mid-year sale. The mini Op Shop will be open from 8.30am until 4pm on Saturday, June 11 and from 9am to 12pm on Sunday, June 12 at the garage across from the Masonic Hall.
Genealogy Society
All are invited to the Bega Valley Genealogy Society’s annual seminar on Saturday May 28 from 10am to 4pm at Pambula Public School to hear from three notable speakers: Kim Phillips, Robyn Dryen and Dr Carol Liston.
