LIONESS OPEN GARDENS
The Eden Lionesses are looking for anyone who would like to have their garden 'open to the public' on October 22 and 23 for their annual "Open Garden" event.
This community event which is held on the weekend prior to the Eden Whale Festival has proved to be extremely popular with gardening enthusiasts.
Funds which are raised go towards supporting our local community.

Eden book launch
The book launch for Eden’s new visitor's guide is set for Wednesday, May 25 at 5pm at the Eden Visitor Information Centre.
There will be nibbles and drinks for members and advertisers who attend. There will also be reps from National Parks and Wildlife, Sapphire Coast Tourism, Eden Tourism and the majority of tourist organisations attend.

Lifesavers award night
Pambula’s top lifesavers, surf sport and administrators will be honoured this weekend when Pambula Surf Life Saving Club holds its annual award dinner.
The volunteer rescue organisation has had another busy season spanning from September 2015 to Anzac Day 2016, with surf patrols, George Bass Marathon, Same Wave, surf carnivals and call-out responses to after hour emergencies highlighting the length and breadth of member’s skills and experience.
On Saturday night, Lifesaver of the Year, Senior Club Person and the first recipient of the Cecil Stone Shield for Patrol Member of the year will be announced amongst a host of other awards.
Food and refreshments are all included in the night which kicks off at 6pm.

Eden VIEW Club
The Monthly Meeting of the Eden View Club will be held next Monday, May 23, at the Fisherman's Club at 12 noon.
The theme of the meeting is "Shoe and Tell". All members are asked to bring their favorite or memorable pair of shoes. We encourage a funny or interesting story.
A committee meeting will also be held on the same day at 11am.
Sydney Speakers for Local Seminar

An increasing array of stalls offer a variety of organic produce, specialty teas, coffee, homemade croissants and cakes, handmade gifts and beautiful knitted goods, antiques collectibles and quality pre-loved items and rustic bits and pieces as well.

Sue Fraser fundraiser
Members if the community have banded together to help well-known local Sue Fraser who is going through a tough time dealing with ongoing treatment for cancer.
Ms Fraser has always been the first one to put her hand up to support many charities over the years including the regular gig at the Pambula Beach Surf Life Saving Club for special needs children and adults from the local area. She also personally sponsors a family in Cambodia which assists the family with schooling and housing.
A band night fundraiser at the Pambula Merimbula Golf Club on Saturday, May 21, has been organised to help raise money to assist Ms Fraser in her time of need. Doors open at 8pm and tickets $20.

Lioness Morning Tea
The Eden Lioness Club is once again hosting a Biggest Morning Tea. Members are ready to do what they do best and prepare a scrumptious morning tea.
