The staff and children are celebrating after the centre received an ‘Exceeding Expectations’ rating under the Federal Government’s Education and Care Services National Regulations.

The preschool received exceeding in each of the seven quality areas.

Eden preschool supervisor and Bega Valley Shire Council’s children services coordinator Lynn Bray said the excellent report was a reflection on the hard work the staff have put in recently. 

“It’s a real team celebration,” Ms Bray said. “We all work closely together to a provide a quality service that gives each and every child a real sense of belonging.”

Bandara Children’s Services in Bega is expected to receive the same honour.
