The Eden Lionesses are looking for anyone who would like to have their garden 'open to the public' on October 22 and 23 for their annual "Open Garden" event.

This community event which is held on the weekend prior to the Eden Whale Festival has proved to be extremely popular with gardening enthusiasts.
Funds which are raised go towards supporting our local community.

Meals on Wheels
The Eden Meals on Wheels roster for the week starting Monday, May 9, is: Monday, June Whalley and Judy Bateman; Tuesday, Jan and John Polak; Wednesday, Maureen Walker and Ena Anderson; Thursday, Sue Kelly and Flo Young; and Friday, Judy Day and Valma Barber.

LOCAL BUSINESS RECOGNISED
Eden business, Sapphire Marine and Automotive was recognised for their outstanding maintenance support of Marine Rescue Merimbula’s rescue vessel, Merimbula 30, with the presentation of a Marine Rescue Certificate of Appreciation recently.
Marine Rescue Merimbula’s Unit Commander, Bill Blakeman presented the prestigious certificate to owner Wayne Holding.
He thanked Wayne and his staff for their professionalism and high standards of maintenance, which had resulted in exceptional availability and minimum downtime of the unit’s rescue vessel.
Wyndham Singers
The Wyndham Singers cordially invite the community to an afternoon of music and song featuring a number of talented local artists.
Music and Song will take place at Wyndham Uniting Church on Tuesday, May 10 at 1.15pm. Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring a plate to share.
