Students from secondary classes dived in on Tuesday, February 2, followed on Thursday, February 4, by the primary students.
Everyone involved themselves enthusiastically in the activities of both days. Students began by raising their voices for the house war cry competitions.
The colours of gold (Monaroo), white (Baringa), red (Bobberrer) and blue (Gudu) dominated the grounds around the Aquatic Centre, with students and staff dressed for the occasion.
Swimming events ran throughout both days of the carnivals, as well novelty activities and dance-offs between the houses.
As usual, both the primary and secondary carnivals were hailed as great successes and a wonderful way to begin the school year.
Final results will be decided following the 100m swimming races to be held in upcoming weeks.
