Eden High Year 12 celebrate

It was a case of ‘water water everywhere’ at the EMHS muck up day last Thursday.

Students arrived at school bright and early and were free and easy with gift wrapping just about anything with plastic wrap before they started in with their weapon of choice, water canons, and soaked everything and anyone within spraying distance.

The staff cooked up a much appreciated breakfast for their Year 12 students after which the students took to the playing fields for games, games and more games.

The waterworks were out in force again at Friday’s farewell assembly for the Year 12s as students cried with the realisation that this was it for the formal academic school year.

Beth Prowse and Emma Clark were chosen as Outstanding Academic Achievers.

The drama group performed a play called 'FMP’ which stands for Food, Money, Power.  It was based on Woolworths and their advertising campaigns.

Ellie Stewart performed a monologue Darian the Librarian where she slipped in and out of several characters - she was fantastic and had the hall in tears of laughter.

Kayla Pratt performed a musical piece, the song Plain Gold Ring and the Year 12 music group performed Somebody I Used to Know.

But the highlight for many was the love and affection shown by the Year 12 group towards their retiring year adviser, Mr Tim Bradley.

Mr Bradley received a standing ovation from his charges, which caused more waterworks, but this time for the best of causes.
