A new sign has been erected to mark the construction site of the Wanderer Replica Project at Boydtown.

"Site clearing and fencing by volunteers is proceeding," Jon Gaul of the Wanderer Replica Project executive committee said.
"Soon we'll have a mast there to fly Ben Boyd's house flag during volunteer work sessions on site," he said.
Built at Cowes in 1837, Ben Boyd's original Wanderer was a 140-tonne topsail schooner, approximately 90 foot overall with a 14 foot draft and 13 guns.
