A solid win over the Tathra Sea Eagles on Saturday saw the Whalers complete a hat-trick of consecutive wins in as many weeks.
The Whalers defeated the Sea Eagles 7.11 (53) to 5.4 (34).
The Eden roster had solid clearances from the centre and the men up front were putting in their usual strong displays.
And the Whalers also benefitted from a fantastic debut performance by recruit Nathan Sebire.
It was the regulars Andrew Salter and Pete Russell getting on the scoreboard with multiple goals each.
With the veterans adding experience up front, some of the club’s younger troops continued to add an air of exuberance and speed during play.
Ben Seide and Isaac Walker were outstanding as they ran rings around the opposition and tackled hard.
In the back lines Lachlan Rooney was a formidable defender for the Whalers, denying Tathra plenty of scoring opportunities.
The one danger player who proved hard to keep down was Peter Dadd.
Dadd led the Sea Eagles scoring with three majors to his name.
Ryan Dakis and Peter Cross were also able to sneak under the radar and take a few kicks at goal.
The Eden roster is developing its play book and has the attitude of a first grade side.
With the team in-form across the park it is proving difficult for other clubs to knock the Whalers off their perch.
Eden boasts the strongest attacking game of the division, while the Panthers boast the best defensive stats.
The Whalers will have a bye this weekend.
