Organiser and secretary-treasurer, Bob Leffler, said the members were delighted to spend five days on the picturesque Sapphire Coast.
“We all arrived on Monday where we enjoyed a welcome dinner with our members,” Mr Leffler said.
It was a non-stop agenda for the group, who took the time to pay a visit to many of the regions most renowned tourist attractions.
“Tuesday, we drove to Bermagui and stopped at the headland, where we had morning tea,” Mr Leffler said.
“We visited central Tilba where we explored the antique shops and Tilba Winery.
"About 68 of us had lunch and were entertained by a three piece band.
“Then we stopped at the Bega Cheese Factory, and had mountains of ice cream.
“We also enjoyed a magnificent lunch at the Seahorse Inn on one of the days, it was fit for royalty,” he said.
The non-stop touring was not just limited to sightseeing and dining, with members of the Bristol Owners Club meeting with local historic car enthusiasts.
“On Wednesday we visited the Sapphire Coast Historic Vehicle Club, where we saw their beautiful facilities and lovely cars,” Mr Leffler said.
Merimbula was chosen as the venue for the rally, not only for its attractive scenery but also for its ideal locality.
“Only some of our members had been here before. We were blessed with lovely and warm weather, we are very pleased,” he said.
“We had members from each state, it’s a very central location.”
“It’s such a lovely place, we are glad we did, it was fantastic here.”
Seahorse Inn Hotel spokeswoman Kathleen Vandermey said car club members enjoyed their lunch at the boutique hotel.
"They welcomed the change in climate from the recent deluge in Sydney and northern beaches," Ms Vandermey said.
