The vigil will start at 6pm on April 24 and conclude with a bugle call at 5am on Anzac Day, ahead of the dawn service.
Relatives of the fallen whose names appear on the cenotaph are invited to give a spontaneous address to those in attendance, giving a short history of the lives of their loved ones who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
"It will give them a personality, rather than being just a name on a block of stone," Eden RSL sub-branch president Steve Mahoney said.
"It will help keep their memory alive."
A combined church service will be held at 8pm and the Eden Singers will provide appropriate entertainment throughout the evening.
Eden Lionesses will provide food at the RSL hall until 11pm.
People are invited to join in the early evening commemoration and are then welcome to sleep-out in the park.
For more details, or to confirm your attendance to assist with catering and other facilities, phone Mr Mahoney on 6496 1522.
