The first grade match will see the two undefeated teams of the Group 16 competition face off for outright leadership.
In reserve grade Moruya plays Candelo-Bemboka, the under 18s play the joint Eden-Merimbula team and the ladies’ league-tag get to play twice with both Merimbula and Bemboka fielding teams.
The first league tag game kicks off the day at 10am and the second match will be held at 2pm.
The under 18s play at 11am and reserve grade starts at 12.30pm.
First grade begins at 3.15pm.
The ground is “looking magnificent” and Ack Weyman will have his namesake oval “looking a picture for the first game”.
New goal posts will be erected today and the new electronic scoreboard will be operating.
The Sharks have also had eight players named in the Group 16 representative side which will face Group Six in Batemans Bay on May 1.
The Sharks also have three players in the seven-man train-on squad if any players withdraw.
The Moruya Sharks’ committee invites club sponsors to cheer on the teams this weekend under its special marquee where drinks and nibbles will be available.
