The children had an opportunity to touch a real-life crab, sea snails, sea stars and even a sea urchin.
Many children placed a turtle shell on their backs to experience what it is like to be a turtle.
"This hands-on experience was an amazing opportunity for the preschool children," Ms Moore said.
"Jill, from Eden Marine Discovery Centre, talked to the children about how to be safe on Eden beaches and especially around the rock pools.
"She also highlighted how to care for our marine life, but most importantly told the children about the deadly blue-ringed octopus.
"The children had such a great time," she said.
