The produce includes fruit, vegetables and herbs.
Instead of collecting a couple of dollars each time the students take in produce, a "tab" has been accruing.
The students recently visited Sprout where owner Karen Lott handed over the money which will be used to fund other garden projects.
"We thought it would be great to do a handover of money and make a big deal of it, as it is a big deal, with our little garden project churning out so much fabulous produce," a school spokesperson said.
The students do everything from harvesting, planting, weeding and mulching.
They are starting two worm farms and have a compost.
All classes have a bucket that they put green waste in that goes to the compost.
"They really love doing it and it's great to see," the spokesperson said.
Special thanks to Carol Ahern who helped the students harvest the produce, wash it and deliver it to Sprout.
