Eden's port redevelopment, Pambula Hospital and domestic violence funding have emerged as the three key issues for Eden residents when they head to the polls on Saturday.

Member for Bega, Andrew Constance, claimed a Foley Labor government would "walk away from Eden" and the spending commitments that have been allocated to the port redevelopment.
“I would remind voters of the fantastic work we have done to secure $13 million for the port redevelopment including $10 million for the safe harbour project,” Mr Constance told the Eden Magnet this week.
"The cruise ships that are already flowing into Eden are a direct result of lower port fees and the Eden Port commitment," he said.
Labor candidate Leanne Atkinson needs a 13.6 per cent swing to seize power from Mr Constance in the state seat of Bega.
Ms Atkinson told the Magnet that Eden Port was "absolutely critical" to creating new jobs and new economic activity, and lowering the 13.3 per cent unemployment rate the Eden region currently suffered.
"I've worked in tourism for most of my adult life, and my five-year plan for sustainable economic growth on the Far South Coast focuses on tourism as the driver of our economy," Ms Atkinson said.
"This community deserves certainty about the wharf development, which was kickstarted by $10 million in funding initiated by Labor's Mike Kelly in the lead up to the last federal election.
"The wharf development is already underway, is budgeted for, and no state government would put this critical project at risk.
"I pledge to put in the same level of hard work and commitment that Mike Kelly showed when he fought for funds to develop the Port and get wind turbine components to be shipped through Eden, not Port Kembla," she said.
Ms Atkinson said that four years ago Mr Constance committed to restoring services at Pambula hospital, including maternity services, and was quoted as saying that he would provide backup to local doctors servicing the emergency department.
"Now we see how he has kept his promises: just a few months ago, 48 hours at Pambula without an emergency room doctor; overstretched nurses working without the same staffing ratios they get in the cities, ratios in emergency departments that Labor won't just extend statewide but will enshrine in law; members of the community worried that they and their loved ones will get the care they need, and in time," she said.
"I have no doubt that the treasurer misled people on this. In a rural community where access to health is critical, these services should not be used as a political football.
"I've lived in this region for 25 years, and I know what it is like to have children and feel vulnerable due to limited health services," she said.
But Mr Constance said the Baird government had a strong record of delivery in the seat of Bega.
“I have continuously reaffirmed my commitment to keeping Pambula Hospital open and will work with the advisory committee on their recent recommendations," Mr Constance said.
“I have also supported Jigamy Farm and the Bundian Way project, both of which will see the tourism industry flourish.
“The Jigamy Farm intersection is now safer, works on the Princes Highway are continuing, and community projects are well supported.
“Eden public schools have seen an injection of almost $100,000 with NSW the first state to sign up to the Gonski reforms," he said.
“Eden will continue to be a strong focus for me as we see tourism, employment and infrastructure growth return to the coastal town, giving it a new lease on life," he said.
Ms Atkinson pledged that if elected, she would meet with the community within the first three months of her term to identify a set of priorities that would be signed off by the community.
Ms Atkinson said her first memories were of growing up at Womboyn as a a young girl.
"My father supported as a fisherman and abalone diver, and I still feel a very personal connection to Womboyn and Eden," she said.
"The Eden region has been ignored by politicians in Sydney for too long, and the community deserves more," she said.
