This is an inspired event not to be missed so pencil it in your diaries for the nights of April 10-11.
It will be showing the best Australian short films along with comedic short films from countries including Switzerland, New Zealand and France.
This year, as with all other years, the event will be held in the Eden Marine High School hall which will be more equipped than ever to host the film festival as a result of improvements made over the holidays.
According to Clare McMahon from the Rotary Club of Pambula, the event has been held in the high school's hall before and it proved a fitting venue.
The short film festival has been celebrated in Eden for the past three years and organised by the Pambula Rotary Club.
Flickerfest takes a percentage of the ticket sales plus administration costs, and then Rotary uses the remaining funds for their many community projects.
Rotary’s motivation for becoming a tour partner for Flickerfest was also to bring an event to Eden that has previously been missed.
Bendigo Bank has come on board as a sponsor to support the advertising program.
Tickets will go on sale soon and will be available from Merimbula Visitor Information Centre, Pambula Newsagency, Eden Gateway Visitor Information Centre, Bega Visitor Information Centre, Bendigo Bank Pambula and Bendigo Bank Agency Eden.
For more information phone Clare McMahon on 6496 1364.
