Over the five weeks we raised in excess of $36,000, to be used in our local community, and we are now looking at ways to best address the needs presented to us, and will disseminate these funds as, and when, appropriate.
Some of the ongoing programs we support are: park rental for three caravans used for emergency accommodation; food distribution from the surplus at local supermarkets, and on the agenda, cooking classes and gardens at Eden High.
Every day we receive calls for assistance in any number of ways, and having this cash resource is absolutely critical for our operations.
The generosity of the people in this amazing community never ceases to astound us and the support we receive every year is truly humbling.
We sincerely hope that support will continue into the future and that many more will be helped by the proceeds of the Samaritan Shop in Pambula.
Thank you once again and we look forward to working with you throughout the year.
