The funding has been allocated under the Community Building Partnership Program, which is funding over 1500 projects across NSW.
“There was a strong level of interest from our local communities for the $400,000 in available funds across the electorate, Mr Constance said.
“The Bega electorate had 52 Community Building Partnership applications, with a total funding request in excess of $2.4 million.”
Mr Constance said local businesses and construction jobs will benefit as the projects are built and upgraded in our local area.
“I am extremely pleased to be a part of the NSW Liberal/National Government which is getting on with the job, ensuring we have a stronger and better region as part of our plan to rebuild NSW,” he said.
“It’s been a privilege to support all the community projects that make a real difference to our region.
“I look forward to seeing the benefit these local projects will have in our communities as they are undertaken and more importantly put into use by residents and visitors.”
