Along with the awards announcements, there were several major drawcards for the 120-strong crowd at Jigamy Farm.
Nancy Weatherman took home the $1000 diamond from Georgie's Fine Jewellery, and said she plans on taking it into the store and having it put into a necklace.
Marge Snijder won the other major prize, a return airfare to either Sydney or Melbourne from Regional Express Airlines, along with a night of four-star accommodation in either city courtesy of Twofold Travel.
With family at both destinations, Marge said the choice will be a tough one.
"It's great - I wasn't expecting it at all, but it's great stuff," Bobby said.
"It was also great to win the $15,000 Bert Evans scholarship recently."
Bobby's great-grandfather, Pastor Ossie Cruse, is thrilled with his achievement.
"I'm as proud as any great-grandfather could be," he said.
"I think Bobby will go far and be a great role model for other young people doing an apprenticeship.
"It's all about promoting our future and encouraging our young people to excel."
"It was amazing - I just want to thank [my boss] Bronwyn for the opportunity."
Hair Lamartine proprietor Bronwyn Schmich said the award is thoroughly deserved.
"I'm just over the moon."
"It's a good bit of recognition after all these years," owner Robert Brown said.
"It's not something you expect, but we'll take it just the same.
"We've had a number of awards over the years, but this is actually the first we've had that's just Eden.
"We've had regional, state and national awards, but this the first one from the local community."
"We're really excited," owner Georgie Staley said.
"I'm so proud of [manager] Simone [Griffiths] and everything she's done with the business.
"We can't wait to see who wins [the $1000 diamond giveaway."
"We just try to help our customers - they're number one," Chris Ceder said, accepting the award on behalf of IGA Eden manager Con Castrissios.
"Con couldn't be here today, but I'm proud to accept the award for him."
"I'm completely over the moon," Bronwyn said.
"What we do isn't a job - we just love it.
"It's fantastic - we had eight nominations between the four us [at Hair Lamartine], which was great."
"It's a lovely surprise - I've just loved doing the job for the past six years," Gail said.
"It's gone from being something small on the wharf to working nationally and internationally - it's been a fantastic experience."
"There's plenty that goes in on this town," Jack said.
"I'm quite chuffed about it and it's nice to be recognised.
"I owe the town a lot, and I'm just paying the town back for what it's done for me."
"I'm super excited, but it's more than just me that deserves it," manager Shannon Woloshyn said.
"It's the volunteers at the centre and all the locals and businesses who continue to support us and be enthusiastic about tourism - it's fantastic."
"This is the community's building - we just look after it and manage it for everyone to enjoy," museum president Jack Dickenson said.
"We're here for the town and we're glad they appreciate what we do."
"It was a huge shock, but a real honour to receive this award," Lisa Newling said.
Fellow director Loraine Lambert agreed.
"It's an especially big honour when you're up against businesses like Michelin's, who have been around for years.
"We've been here six years - we love the town and the club and we're very honoured by this.
"Go Eden!"
"It was an honour to accept the award on behalf of Robert and Eileen," Steve Skeers said.
"With the amount of work they do in the town, it's great to see them being recognised."
