Even despite some scorching laps in the pool, a number of the kids were still running marathons on the grassy area as parents eagerly cheered on the swimmers.
Organisers are delighted to see the kids having such fun during the meets.

A number of the 50-metre event swimmers were the standouts at the last meet.
Lachlan Fox took five seconds of his freestyle speed.
Susan Kennedy kept pace, also shaving five seconds from her time in the breast stroke.
Tarra Glover was in fine form to also record a five-second reduction on her time.
